Shonan Kaigan Park is a uniquely designed seaside park open to the general public to offer a wide variety of opportunities to feel closer to and deepen the understanding of the natural environment by the sea, through a well-planned layout ranging diversely from Salt Breeze Plaza, Water Plaza, Kids Plaza, Palm Tree & Lawn Plaza, Surf Village, to Multi-purpose Plaza, and many more. It is actively involved in the promotion and support of beach sports and life-saving activities, and also serves as the base (“Nagisa Running Station”) for those who want to enjoy jogging or running a longer distance in the Shonan area.

Beach sports
The park also serves as a center for supporting and promoting beach sports and related recreational activities, including beach volleyball. (You can borrow beach volleyballs here at free of charge.)

For the purpose of safety assurance, the shutters at the entrance / exit gate will be completely closed 5 minutes before the park’s closing time. Please be reminded that once these shutters are closed, you will not be able to access the seaside from the park.
Closed on
1st and 3rd Mondays every month (excluding July and August*) and year-end / New year’s period (December 29 ~ January 3)
* If the 1st or 3rd Monday is a public holiday, the park will close on the first weekday immediately following that Monday.
* There will be no days closed in July and August.
